Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory.

Manage cash flow, perform company credit card reconciliation, and run weekly payment processing to ensure timely transactions.

Maintain oversight of the General Ledger, handling monthly entries such as prepaid expenses, property tax accruals, goodwill, and interest.

Conduct financial management and analysis for distribution operations, including warehousing and freight costs.

Lead month-end close by reconciling major accounts, preparing Income Statements and Balance Sheets, and providing detailed reports with financial insights for the management team.

Identify financial risks (both current and potential) and propose mitigation strategies to the Management team.

Develop and execute the Annual Budget and forecasting processes.

Monitor supplier and customer satisfaction regarding payment terms, adjusting policies when necessary to balance supplier needs with sound financial practices.

Supervise accounting staff, ensuring key functions are covered, and supporting employee development and training.

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

7-10 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly detail-oriented and organized.
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Sage software preferred.
